Coral Reefs, their importance to us and the planet

'Since 2008 Jon has been feeding his passion for the natural world by seeking out, filming, presenting and producing conservation films around the world. This affinity for the environment was kindled at an early age growing up in a nature reserve in South Africa and spending his free time exploring Sea World (now uShaka Marine World) in Durban where his marine biologist father still works. This paternal guidance has leant Jon's filming focus towards the ocean and taking the camera beneath the waves. However his interest does not stop at the water's edge having filmed several coastal community and terrestrial wildlife productions. With his background as a Commissioned Officer Royal Marine Commandos and Adventure Training Instructor Jon has been trained to survive and thrive in any environment - with any luck future projects will give him the opportunity to do so! '
