Whale of a Time was nominated and duly recognised in the London Peace Awards 2011, for their valuable contribution to peace and justice in London.
Whale of a Time was the London region winner of the Future Friendly Awards 2011, which recognises great environmental efforts and community projects across the UK and Ireland. Due to amazing public support Whale of a Time topped the votes in the whole of UK and Ireland.
Whale of a Time was nominated for a Peace Award 2010 in recognition of our outstanding contribution to making London a better City. The prestigious awards were a celebration and recognition for a positive contribution to the peace and safety of London and were taking place as part of the London Week of Peace.
Whale of a Time was nominated a finalist of the Archant London Business Awards 2010 for the category Community Involvement. This prestigious award seeks to recognise significant achievements in such categories as innovation, customer services and marketing.
Whale of a Time won the Community Wellbeing Competition sponsored by the NHS Lambeth as part of Lambeth Psychological Therapies Service, a part of the national IAPT programme with the aim to increase people’s awareness of ways to help wellbeing.
Whale of a Time is a Green Community Champion and we're proud to announce that we won the Making a Big Difference Award 2010 in Lambeth.

at the Making a Big Difference Award

Whale of a Time is a Green Community Champion and we're delighted to announce that we won the Making a Big Difference Award in March 2010 in Lambeth. As part of this award we participated in the Lambeth Country Show and organised the Whale of a Time Workshop for the local community in Lambeth.

It was absolutely wonderful to be part of the Archant London Environmental Awards. It's great to see green initiatives to support a sustainable community in London and we'd like to thank Archant, Tate and Lyle, Swiftflow, Thames Water, The POD for greener schools, Hackney Council, LRS Consultancy and Xero for their sponsorship of the awards. It's so important to recognise the work for the benefit of our community and our environment.
